Plan the right scope
A quote request should identify whether the project is a new installation, a repair, or a transition into an existing finish. For larger spaces, rough dimensions and room count are useful. For a patch, describe the opening or damage and note whether the wall or ceiling has texture.
“Paint-ready” describes the completed drywall finishing stage. It does not mean the surface has been primed or painted unless those steps are expressly included in an estimate.
